Our First Christmas!

It was so great to have such a great break after Jordan and I worked hard to finish our finals and head out for a much needed vacation.  We First went to Flagstaff, AZ where we spent time with my parents.  It was great to be with them in the beautiful snow.  Jordan played in the snow with my cousins children and I did everything in my power to stay warm.  After time spent with my family we headed to Mesa to spend time with the Ellingsons.  I learned how to make bread and Jordan made cinnamon rolls with Rebekah.  It was fun to see different Christmas traditions and fun to spend Christmas with Jordan.

We spent a day at the park with the family. We played some football, rode down the hill on some ice, rode bikes (Jordan and Dallin attempted backwards... boys will be boys).

So forever ago I told Jordan that I have been craving Pete's Fish-N-chips right when we started dating.  We never got the opportunity the go, so Jordan felt bad and offered to take me somewhere in Provo with fish and chips. Then I told him that I don't get fish, I love their hamburgers.  On the trip, we finally made it and it was just like I remembered.

Speaking of fish... as we were getting ready to leave to head to Arizona we realized that we hadn't thought of what to do with Prince Frederick (our fish).  We debated the duck pond or the lovely toilet pipes.  After much discussion we decided to take him on a vacation in our tupperware, so he tagged along... successfully!

Last, but not least Jordan's brother Gary came home from the Omaha, Nebraska Mission.  To welcome him home we all wore hats and scarves... to bring him back to the cold weather of Mesa.  It was fun for the family to have their brother home and for me to finally meet him.

Overall, the best first Christmas with Jordan EVER!
